Atlantic Driving School Driver Education

There are 2 options for classes

1.       You get your permit from MVD, you then take private lessons with us to learn to drive. When you are ready you go to MVD and take your driving test. Private lessons are $230 for 6 hours or $300 for 8 hours. This is the same procedure for Nevada or California. Call 928-330-2254 to schedule lessons.

2.       You take the Atlantic classroom- 8 hour class. The class deals with many defensive driving risk situations, right of way issues, communication with other drivers.  We have videos dealing with many emergency situations, different driving environments, not drinking and driving, dealing with stress, car insurance and maintenance. (You can have your permit or not.) We are licensed to give the permit test-$90.00 for this class. We give you a certificate to take to MVD to get your permit. No additional testing!

Then you take 6 or 8 hours of drive time with us. The drive time is scheduled at the classroom. $230 for 6 hrs or $300 for 8 hrs. All lessons are private. If you learn the skills to an 80% or better, we give you a second certificate that you do not need to take a driving test!  If you are under 18, you need to be on your permit for 6 months, you need to document 30 hours of day and 10 hour of night driving to get your license. If you are 18 to 75 this whole program answers many of the questions, you have had, to make learning to drive, less stressful and satisfying. We give you a certificate for a discount on your car insurance that is good as long as you are in school.
